Blessing Okagbare has proven once again that she is a force to reckon with a Season Best (SB) time of 11.05s to win the 100m at the Rabat Diamond League. As the 2019 IAAF Diamond League came to Africa, she won the 100m in her fourth appearance in Rabat and her 60th race in the prestigious Diamond League.
She started slow but soon recovered well to go neck to neck against the African champion Maria Jose Ta Lou until she pulled away after the 90m point.
Ta Lou finished second 0.04 slower than Okagbare while Crystal Emmanuel of Canada finished third with a time of 11.30 seconds.
This is her first-ever Diamond League win since she made her debut in Rabat in 2016.
