ViewPointNigeria.com – Attacking midfielder from Aceh, Andri Syahputra, had to swallow the bitter results of the inaugural match in Group D of the 2019 U-20 World Cup. He and the Qatar U-20 national team suffered a heavy defeat from Nigeria.

Qatar fell 0-4 from Nigeria at the Tichy Stadium on Friday (05/25/19). Felix Sanchez Bas’s fleet conceded four times through the efforts of Maxwell Effiom, Okechukwu Offia, Ayotomiwa Dele-Bashiru, and Aliu Salawudeen.

In the match, Andri Syahputra played for 90 minutes. Unfortunately, his presence in the midfield was unable to prevent Qatar from losing.

In the game, Qatar also lost heavily because of Nigeria’s sticky defense, limiting them to shoot just two shots that led to the goal, compared to Nigeria who threatened nine times.

However, Andri Syahputra was not broken. He was ready to rise in the second match when Qatar faced Ukraine on Monday (05/27/19).

Meanwhile, a 0-4 defeat to Nigeria has knocked Qatar to the bottom of Group D of the 2019 U-20 World Cup. While Aliu Salawudeen cs succeeded at the top, above Ukraine and the United States.
