This letter is to acknowledge my withdrawal from the race for the Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP).
I want to painstakingly state my withdrawal from the race to represent the good people of Mangu/Bokkos in the green Chambers after due consultations with critical stakeholders. I want it to be known that I didn’t do this due to any intimidation, financial inducement or unfavorable level playing ground. In the course of this movement, I made friends with people who took every phase of it to heart, and those who willingly sacrificed everything they had to see to the realization of this aspirations. I know how disappointed you may be on receiving this news, but I am hopeful that at the appropriate time, we will still take up bigger responsibility for our people anytime the opportunity comes knocking.
I remain committed to defending the ideals of the PDP and will do everything within my sphere of influence to support whosoever emerges as the party’s flag bearer. To my co-contenders, I thank you for playing the game with every sense of responsibility and decorum, I believe in the competency of all of you and hope to contribute my quota in raising the standard of living of our constituents through a pragmatic and impact full representation. We will work together to see to the success of our party in the 2019 outing God’s willing.
To my supporters, I can’t thank you enough for your valuable help and contributions towards this movement, I take to heart your sacrifices and pray God avails me the opportunity to serve you anytime the need be.
